The hotel, one of the oldest in Umbria (1895), is located in a small square in the very heart of the city.

Medium to large in size and elegant in style, the lobby, as well as the nearby sitting area, combines the use of marble, wood and earth/ neutral tones to create an elegant, exclusive yet warm atmosphere.

The building that accommodates the hotel is a 17 Century palace, once a monastery of the Church of St Francis. Though not particularly large, the entrance to the hotel is elegant and takes central stage in the small square facing the hotel.
