This brand new hotel (opening late summer 2009) is located in the old part of Istanbul in the district of Sultanahmet only 10 minutes walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, the famous cistern or the big market and Topkapi Palace. It is located just in a beautiful square full of trees close to Kumkapi, where there are many seafood restaurants.

The lobby is also really well designed with a fountain, and a glass wall giving extra natural light. There is several bookshelves with books about the Ottoman history for the guest to use and enjoy. The area gives the perfect idea of type of hotel that the guest will find.

The facade is designed in a modernized late-Ottoman way from a mid century apartment building.

The hotel has its own restaurant with a good selection of Turkish dishes with the old ottoman style. The great thing about the restaurant it's its location at the terrace with superb views of the sea & the old part of the city.

All rooms are decorated in a balanced mix between modern style with Ottoman and Turkish theme. All rooms have a good size and with the most modern equipment as flat tv, individually controlled air condition and safe box. The bathrooms are really nice, with the perfect election of tiles. All rooms have hair-dryer, wireless internet connection, smoke detector and double glazed windows.
