This Special class category hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet within walking distance of the Blue mosque, Topkapi palace, the Grand Bazaar and Aya Sofia.

The reception area is small due the type of building but there is some seating area and also it's connected to a coffee lounge.

The exterior of the building is an impressive white wood Ottoman house. Really nice and in fantastic condition. The hotel is actually several buildings together.

The hotel has its own restaurant on the top of the building with amazing views of the sea. The menu cover both international & traditional Turkish dishes.

Standard: The Avicenna hotel has 49 charming rooms with direct dial telephone,TV-satellite and music, some of them with balcony and all of them with air-condition. All rooms are decorated with taste, are clean and keep in fantastic condition. The rooms are medium size. The bathrooms can be a bit small due the type of building but are comfortable and again keep in really good standards.

Elegance: This type of rooms on the Avicenna hotel are facing different parts of the city; some elegance room has a balcony and the view of the bosphorous makes the room more alluring and others are -which is facing the other side- at night, when the mosque is illuminated, flocks of seagulls fly into the shafts of light around the minarets in a surreal performance. All have direct dial telephone,TV-satellite and music, some of them with balcony and all of them with air-condition. All rooms are decorated with taste in a kind of modernist style are clean and keep in fantastic condition. The rooms are medium size.
